This place was a yummy breakfast spot! I know Kailua as the land of breakfast, so it was no surprise to me that this gem would be there. My friends and I woke up extra- early on a Sunday to get there at 7 am to beat the line. We were late, since none of us are morning people, and ended up getting there at around 7: 2. We were able to find street parking in front of the Mc. Donald's because it was still pretty early. It was really hard to pick from the menu because everything sounded really good!

I'll have to go back to try more things. I ended up deciding to split the Kalua Pig Hash and Fried Egg Sandwich (which only has a limited quantity) with one of my friends so that we could both try more things. Is Greek Yogurt Healthy more. The Kalua Pig Hash was good, with juicy kalua pork, big chunks of Okinawan sweet potato & fingerling potatoes, and a generous drizzle of Green Goddess dressing. I really liked the lomi tomato that brought a note of freshness and bright citrus to the dish. The Fried Egg Sandwich is served on house made sourdough, which was really ono. The caramelized onions and spicy aioli really elevated the sandwich to the next level.

I would say I liked the Fried Egg Sandwich a little bit more than I liked the Kalua Pig Hash, but both were really good. Next time I'm in Kailua around breakfast/brunch- time, I definitely want to come back to check out Over Easy again. Popcorn. I've come to learn in Hawaii if there is a clipboard where you have to write your name for the wait then it's a very good chance it's a great place to eat! We waited about 2. I picked out a shrimp hamburger which sounded really interesting at the time but def wasn't my favorite !

Now my husbands food tho was supper good! Next one maybe the pancakes or the hamburger is what I'll get it looked really yummy ! I did try there other version of mimosa and while I expected more of it it was really tasty and actually better than orange juice! So refreshing! We also got a side of Portuguese sausages and those have to be my new favorite thing so of course I loved that ! Since I didn't like my plate I did try my husbands and you have two thumbs up for me too ! A great little place to go for breakfast, brunch or lunch in the heart of Kailua. I've been wanting to try this place for months since they opened so we decided to go there for breakfast on my birthday.

It was on a Tuesday and they were pretty busy at 9am but we got seated right away. Great timing because when we walked out at 1.

It's street parking only so be ready with quarters for the meter, tho much of the guests liked like tourists or residents who live nearby and walked over. Seems like a lot of the local traffic are regulars because the servers recognized them and asked then of they wanted their "usual". Most of the items on the menu are typical things thou find on a breakfast/lunch menu but with unique twists such as sweet potatoes or coffee glazed bacon. Everything we tried was good and the coffee was piping hot (A nice change from recent places that seem to prefer serving lukewarm coffee).

Excellent service from our server Jade who was friendly and sincere. This place is a definite must try. Rarely ever head out to this part of the island. But I'm glad I did because I never knew about this place until my mom had mentioned it. Mom lives in Kailua but had never tried it, so it was the perfect spot for a nice mother- daughter breakfast. Got there at around 1. Friday. There were several people waiting outside to be seated.

However, because it was just the two of us, they were able to seat us right away. It's not a huge establishment, but it was comfortable. We didn't feel squished or crammed in like sardines.

Mom ordered the Custard French Toast, which comes with orange crème fraiche. And I had the Brunch Bowl, which has a good serving of avocado (yum!), house made yogurt, tomato jam, spinach, two soft boiled eggs (cooked perfectly btw), two pieces of sour dough toast, two slices of candied bacon, and Aiea microgreens.

I'm trying to eat healthier so I didn't get to try some of my mom's French toast. But she said it was really delicious.

When the server brought my food she recommended that I mix everything together and scoop it onto the toast. I did just that and it was tasty! It was so flavorful yet, a nice light dish. And the bacon was a nice side to indulge in. A perfect semi- healthy breakfast without the guilt! I definitely recommend coming for breakfast if you're in the area. I hope to come back soon to try more of the breakfast options as well as their lunch menu.

Wish I knew about this place when I lived on the Windward side! Been here twice and both times I've really enjoyed everything.

From the service to the food, everything is pretty near perfect. The wait is so short when you only have two people and the food comes out just as speedy. There's an indoor and outdoor seating area and I would recommend sitting at the counter to watch the cooking- my favorite! Staff are super friendly, attentive, and timely! Never had to ask for water or iced coffee refills (refillable, yay)!

They check in on you at appropriate intervals and you won't find yourself tracking down someone to help you. I've enjoyed the brunch bowl twice and like that it comes with a recommendation of how to eat it (mix it all up, it truly is better).

Crispy edge pancake (shoot is that the name?) is amazing.. The pancake comes filled with some sort of cream cheese filling that is just sweet enough that you don't need maple syrup. You have to (HAVE TO) try the custard French toast.. I've had anywhere! It is moist in the middle but not soaking in liquid and mushy and soggy which is what I expected, and the edges are crisp and have a nice texture.

It came with a citrus whipped cream which gave a perfect contrast to the sweet and just- decadent- enough French toast.. If you're in the Windward area or even if you're not, it's worth the trip! Love it every time! I know there are many more famous eateries in Kailua that don't even need their names mentioned that people flock towards for brunch.

But after trying this place out first, I keep going back for their delicious brunch. The restaurant is right next to the gas station and their parking is around the corner - I highly suggest dropping off your friends so they put your name down while you park, as the place is small and the place does get busy. I'm going to go against the grain and say that the french toast was not my personal favorite and would recommend many things over it. It was crunchy but kind of thin for my liking so the inside wasn't as soft as I'd like. It also lacked the strong custard flavor that others are raving about.. I'll try again and hopefully get a better experience or a better plate : ).

Instead, I highly recommend their pancakes, brunch bowl, and potato n eggs. Disclaimer: Must love runny eggs - it is their namesake, after all.

Very impressed!! Everything was so good! I had the cream cheese strawberry pan cakes and they were delicious my husband had the bao bunds that were on the daily selection and they were amazing!

So definitely get those if they are available when you go. Oh & coffee was really good too. Exterior = 2/5. They do not have a dedicated parking near it, so you have to park on the street.

Boy, that was not easy at all. We parked past the Mc. Donald's and somewhere in between buildings. We didn't even have enough coins to be able to relax and eat. Make note, in Hawaii..

It was also hard to spot so we did miss it the first drive around since it's located behind the street facing store. Super cute interior.

The tables were nicely decorated and give off brunch vibes. It was brightly colored and was almost like a picturesque date spot. There was good spacing between tables too so don't worry about rubbing elbows with someone.
