My friend introduced me to this place from Miami Spice and it was absolutely delicious. Service was on point and the food was delicious. Conch popcorn (4/5) - Very generous portion and solid.

Not perfect as it was slightly over breaded. Shrimp cocktail (5/5) - Huge fan. The shrimp was really fresh and the cocktail sauce was delicious. Loved it. Uptown burger (5/5) - What a wonderful surprise to have such a great burger at a seafood place. It was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and juicy. Definitely recommend.

Bread pudding (4/5) - Slightly on the sweeter end but delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Very delicious. Can't wait to go back to try other items on this place. It is small and has an intimate vibe. Loved it! We came here on a Saturday night while in town for a conference at the Hilton (walking distance!) When we first arrived, we were told that the wait would be 4.

By the time we decided where to go next, the host came outside and said that they worked something out for us - YAY! Our server was friendly and helpful with suggestions. We ordered the Yellowtail Snapper (their specialty), Lobster Rolls and the Mussels. Everything was delicious. The Snapper is a HUGE portion, so order accordingly! And the butter sauce for the mussels is DIVINE.

Oh and we had the popcorn shrimp to start - a misleading name: they are huge and the batter has a cornmeal- like texture. Yummy. Bonus points for the music: A Tribe Called Quest, Biggie, and more. It's hard to believe this restaurant was a 1. This restaurant is casual but absolutely delightful.

You must order oysters at an oyster bar! I opted to try the Oysters Rockefeller, six perfectly baked Oysters in butter. Huitlacoche.

Delicious. *As my main, I ordered the Clam Po Boy. Dare I say it? This is the best dang Po Boy I've ever had. Lastly, I finished the meal by ordering the bread pudding. My oh my, butterscotch and bread pudding heaven.

Mignonette, was lovely and inviting. Thinking of the food still makes my mouth water. We decided to try the Miami Spice Lunch menu, and I must say we enjoyed the experience. Great food and even better service.

I would highly recommend the fried clams as well as the shrimp po- boy. Definitely try the bread pudding. I also heard the lobster roll was phenomenal from the table next to us. The only blemish of the afternoon was the crab cake sandwich, which was small and pretty bland. Looking forward to coming back again though! Fine food in a casual atmosphere. They have free parking down the street behind Artopia and there was a security guard watching the parking lot.

Reservations are suggested as this place is busy. Mignonette is all about seafood but for you land lubbers they also have chicken breast and lamb chops.

My dinner companies are oyster lovers and they assured me that they enjoyed the different oysters that they tried and that they were fresh and the selection of different West coast and East coast oysters were excellent. Other apps we tried were the mussels in white wine sauce and the crab cake. The mussels were a good portion and were large in size. The sauce was a little different because they put sautéed onions in it. I was surprised the onions complimented the white wine sauce so well.

The mussels and the crusty bread for dipping could make a nice meal. The crab cake is a little pricey but it was delicious and full of crab meat. The following mains were are all fantastic: twin South African lobster tails, crispy skin snapper, red fish and lobster roll. You can't go wrong with what you order. They don't have a huge selection of beer or wine but what they do have is quite interesting and satisfying.

Went here with a group of girlfriends. We had a reservation. Still received painfully slow service and not so memorable food. Not a huge fan of the location. Wouldn't return. Amazing seafood place in the neighborhood. Each time I come here I always try a different dishes they have and was never disappointed. Great and attentive service.

Cozy ambient!! love all the. There's really nothing negative to say about them .. Cute and delicious. It's got a hipster vibe and the service was very good. I had grilled chicken, carrots , and cheesy polenta. The carrots were a bit undercooked for my tastes, but I would go again! Poivre Sauce. My first visit here to this location.

I'm a huge fan of Blue Collar and I had a great meal once at the original Mignonette. Today I wanted fried chicken for lunch.

I wanted to love this but it was not meant to be. Go to Publix or KFC and get delicious fried chicken for 1/1. The crust is very bland and while crunchy it was on the verge of burned. The serving was two large boneless breasts and the meat was wonderfully moist and tender. They drizzle honey under it which is fine by me, but this tells me there should be some spicy, salty heat to balance the sweet honey.

Sadly, no. The salt shaker contained sea salt that would not leave the shaker! Only hot sauce option is Tabasco. Sides are very limited compared to Blue Collar. No Brussels Sprouts?! Server pushed roasted cauliflower and it too was a bit past charred. Bland too. But the thing that got me was their intentional failure to offer the Miami Spice menu. After I ordered I overheard an assistant chef telling a friend "the Spice Menu" is the way to go for lunch.

Other guests came in and none were offered the Spice menu! I hate it when restaurants participate in the Miami Spice program and then play this game. For $1 less than I paid for fried chicken, I could have enjoyed a salad, entree and dessert.

They do accept Prime Card so there's that. Not sure I'll be back here. That just makes me sad. After countless raving fans and after making it all the way to the finals on Miami Herald's "Munch Madness" bracket challenge I decided it was time to give this place a shot. Dinner or Lunch was the debate, decided to do lunch on a weekday as I did not expect it to be crowded and that was a fair assessment. The order was a dozen oysters (two types), and a few sandwiches: lobster roll, clam po boy and conch po boy.

The oysters were the best thing we had, specifically one of the two types recommended by the waiter (can't recall name but it was from the west coast). The sandwiches were ok, borderline mediocre, but at what I think is a fair price for a lunch item ($1. Overall the menu is quite ordinary, something that plagues most (all?) Miami seafood restaurants.
